And with you, all shadow beings and creatures of darkness, and all humans and other beings who have devoted themselves to black magic. And the path to the World of Light, to Falkenheim, Elbenfurt, and Glimmervale, shall be forever barred to you."The Paladins of the Falcon Guard seized him and brought him to the city gates, and thus Barabas submitted to his fate. Yet from then on, the poison of anger flowed through his veins.The inhabitants of Falkenheim, however, lived in peace and happiness. And just as the wheat thrived in the vast fields and acres of the kingdom, so too did knowledge flourish in the universities and magical guild houses in the cities of Falkenheim.Airell the Blue, head of the mages of Glimmervale, keeper of knowledge, and lord of the beings of all seven worlds, heard of the rising Falkenheim and set out to visit King Sirunian at his court and see for himself. After testing the mages of the Guild of Light and studying their writings, he agreed to exchange knowledge and mutually instruct each other in the magical arts.And word quickly spread in nearby Elbenfurt that the inhabitants of Falkenheim had found the right path. It wasn't long before King Lomelind, keeper of the forest and ruler of the high elves, appeared in the capital and offered the King of Falkenheim a pact of peace.With each dispatch received by the dark Barabas Ulfaran, his heart darkened more and the anger in his soul grew. He vowed revenge on Sirunian to the adepts of darkness, shadow beings, and black magicians, to conquer all of Leros, to subjugate the light peoples, and to lay an eternal mantle of darkness over the world. Thus, he gathered the forces of evil around him, forging a dark pact with the wild horde of Kael al Shamal, whose shamans summon the evil spirits of his ancestors and feast on human blood.Through this dark alliance, the power and strength of the black Barabas grew – and so he subdued the armies of fire and cunning, the orcs and ogres, the goblins and kobolds, and made them his willing allies in the fight against the light forces of the south.And so the sky over the north of Leros darkened as the black adepts of Barabas formed, accompanied by the dull drums of Kael al Shamal and the marching orc armies moving towards Falkenheim.But soon the golden horns of Camorrus sounded, announcing the impending doom and the upcoming battle. Thus, the light armies of Falkenheim, Elbenfurt, and Glimmervale gathered to face the dark forces of the north.Under the wary eyes of the dwarves and trolls, the fairies and pixies, and all other natural beings, in the hope that their world Leros might survive the final battle.

Through this dark alliance, the power and strength of Black Barabas grew—and so he subjugated the armies of fire and cunning, the Orcai and the Ogres, the Goblins and the Kobolds, and made them his willing allies in the fight against the light forces of the south. And so the skies over northern Leros darkened as the Black Adepts of Barabas formed up, accompanied by the dull drums of Kael al Shamal and the marching of the Orc armies heading for Falcon's Home. There, however, the golden horns of Camorrus soon sounded, heralding impending doom and the approaching battle. And so the light armies of Falkenheim, Elvenford, and Glimmervale formed to oppose the dark powers of the North. Under the suspicious eyes of the dwarves and trolls, the fairies and pixies, and all other creatures of nature, in the hope that their world of Leros might survive the final battle.

Doch eines Tages geschah das Unvermeidliche: Lysana wurdevon einer uralten Krankheit befallen, die selbst die Magie des Feenvolkes nicht heilen konnte. Ihre letzten Worte an Toshi waren eine Bitte: Er solle über das Fädenreich wachen, die Heimat der Feen, und es vor der aufziehenden Dunkelheit schützen.Mit gebrochenem Herzen stand Toshi an ihrer Seite, als Lysanas Licht für immer erlosch. Doch mit ihrem Tod wurde er nicht nur freigesetzt – er wurde transformiert. Die Magie ihres Bundes verlieh ihm eine letzte Gabe: unermüdliche Kraft und Geschwindigkeit, ein Zeichen des Lichts, das ihn auf seiner Mission leiten würde.

Toshi wusste, dass seine Mission nicht allein darin bestand,die Dunkelheit des Nordens zu besiegen. Die acht Mächte – Licht, Schatten, Leben, Tod,Ordnung, Chaos, Natur und Geist – waren miteinander verbunden wie die Speicheneines Rades, mit dem Gott von Leros im Zentrum. Wurde eine dieser Mächtegestört, geriet das gesamte Rad ins Wanken, und die Welt selbst drohte zuzerbrechen.Toshi war sich dieser uralten Wahrheit bewusst, denn Lysanahatte sie ihm einst offenbart: „Unser Bund ist nur ein kleiner Faden im Netzvon Leros, Toshi. Doch das Netz darf nie reißen, denn der Gott von Leros wachtüber uns alle. Wenn sein Gleichgewicht zerbricht, wird unsere Welt in Dunkelheit fallen.“

Das das Fädenreich allein nicht gegen die edrohung des Nordens bestehen konnte, war ihm bewusst. Die Schattenarmee des dunklen Herrschers Barabas Ulfaran erhob sich, und selbst die mächtigsten Feen konnten der Dunkelheit nicht trotzen. Doch der Abschied fiel ihm schwer. Sein Bruder, Ralin, blieb zurück. Ralin war ebenfalls ein Beschützer, dessen Bund mit einer anderen Fee noch ungebrochen war. „Du musst gehen, Bruder“, sagte Ralin mit fester Stimme, „denn dein Licht ist das, was unser Volk retten kann. Ich werde hier wachen, solange mein Bund besteht.“ Die Brüder trennten sich schweren Herzens, doch beide wussten, dass ihr Weg von einer höheren Macht bestimmt war. Getrieben von Lysanas letzten Worten und Ralins Vertrauen machte sich Toshi auf den Weg, um Hilfe zu suchen. Sein Ziel war König Sirunian Seehoff, der weiße Herrscher von Falkenheim, dessen Armee für ihre Stärke und Disziplin bekannt war. Die Reise war beschwerlich. Toshi durchquerte die kargen Ebenen von Orphall, kämpfte gegen die giftigen Bestien der Sümpfe von Morruk und widerstand den dunklen Verlockungen der Schattenwesen, die ihn aufhalten wollten. Doch mit jedem Schritt wurde sein Wille stärker, sein Ziel klarer: Das Fädenreich und die Magie der Feen mussten bewahrt werden. Als er schließlich Falkenheim erreichte, kniete Toshi vor König Sirunian nieder und berichtete von der drohenden Gefahr. Doch Toshierklärte, dass es nicht allein darum ging, die Dunkelheit zu vernichten. „Die acht Mächte von Leros müssen im Gleichgewicht bleiben“, sagte er. „Wenn wir den schwarzen Herrscher zerstören, ohne dieses Gleichgewicht zu wahren, wird nur neues Chaos entstehen.“ Sirunian erkannte in ihm nicht nur einen tapferen Krieger, sondern auch einen weisen Boten, der die wahre Bedeutung des Gleichgewichts in Leros verstanden hatte.

Sirunian bot Toshi eine besondere Rolle in seiner Armee an: Nicht als Befehlshaber, sondern als Krieger des Lichts, der an vorderster Frontkämpfte und Hoffnung verbreitete. In den Schlachten, die folgten, war Toshi mehr als nur ein Kämpfer. Seine Präsenz stärkte die Moral der Truppen, seine Klinge war ein Leuchtfeuer, das selbst die dunkelsten Schatten durchdrang. Doch Toshi kämpfte nicht allein gegen die Dunkelheit – er erinnerte die anderen daran, dass der wahre Sieg nur im Einklang mit den Mächten von Leros möglich war.

Sein Weg würde nicht endetn, solange das Gleichgewicht der Mächte bedroht war. Die Feen, die Menschen, sogar die Schattenwesen – sie alle hatten ihren Platz im Gefüge von Leros. In seinen Träumen erschien ihm manchmal der Gott von Leross elbst, mit glühenden Augen und einer Stimme, die wie Donner grollte: „Vergiss nicht, Toshi: Die Balance darf nie kippen. Weder Licht noch Dunkelheit dürfent riumphieren. Nur im Gleichgewicht gibt es Frieden. “Sein Versprechen blieb ungebrochen: Das Fädenreich zu schützen, die Magie der Feen zu bewahren und die acht Mächte in Balance zuhalten, damit Leros nicht in einen Krieg gestürzt wird, aus dem es kein Zurückgibt.
