Falkenheim has been ruled by the kings of Falkenheim for generations. King Sirunian Seehoff has sat on the throne for many summers since the death of his father. The kingdom of Falkenheim, located far to the south of Leros, has never been conquered. The thick walls of the city, the brave and valiant warriors, and the healing powers of the magicians ensure the protection of the inhabitants. According to legend, the kings can speak with the gods themselves and perform miracles in Leros.

What to expect on your adventures:

The first edition, “Origin,” will feature 250 different cards with fantastic artwork.

  • Each case is highly likely to contain a UNIQUE card with serial number 1/1 or one of 10 different cards, each with one of 25 unique/modified designs. One case contains 4 displays.
  • A booster display contains 33 booster packs.
  • 30 booster packs and 3 draft booster packs.
  • The 30 booster packs each contain 15 cards (1x Fabulous, 3 x Legendary/Mythic, 4x Famous, 6x Well-Known, 1x Ruler/Token).
  • 54 different collectible cards, “Mythic Foil Cards,” will be found in approximately every 10th booster.
  • It will only be available in English.
  • The cards are standard size.

The game

  • Structure

    Bluthelden is a turn-based game in which you draw cards to your hand and can then cast them, one player after another, phase by phase. However, this order changes abruptly in the combat phase. In the combat phase, players act simultaneously or react according to the initiative value of their characters on the battlefield. The speed and power of your army depend not only on the strength and resilience and the individual abilities of your cards but also on the initiative value. Therefore, it is essential to continuously improve the abilities of your heroes and strategically build up your resources to fend off the attacks of the opponent and defeat them.

  • Tactics

    Bluthelden is not just played on the board; you expand your power each round through tactical elements.

    There are various zones you can play in. In your own protection zone, you build up your resources and thus your dominion. The front zone is the combat zone, divided into 3 sub-zones.

    You decide in which zones to cast your cards to specifically expand your power. With this decision, you neglect the other zone and might lose it.

    In these zones, your characters and resources level up into new hero levels, becoming more powerful turn by turn.

  • Luck

    As with any trading card game, luck plays an important role in which cards you have in your hand and which cards you draw. But as the saying goes, "You can work for your luck," and what's crucial is the balance in your deck you've built yourself!

    The cards are divided into two draw piles, one containing only resources and resource enchantments. You can now build each resource, making your drawing luck less critical than your skills!

    On the other stack are the spells.

The first edition, "Origin," will contain 270 different cards. 56 of these cards will be available as foil and/or mythic cards.

There are four different rarity levels in the game. Each rarity only allows a certain number of cards with the same name in the deck. The rarity of a card is indicated at the bottom of the card.

  • KNOWN (112 total) - 4x allowed in deck
  • NOTED (94 total) – 3x allowed in deck
  • LEGENDARY (48 total) – 2x allowed in the deck
  • FABULOUS (16 total) – 1x allowed in deck

The cards in Blood Heroes® are well organized and visually appealing.

Not all cards have all abilities and symbols.

The card shown, "Blood Novice," is one of the few cards that has all symbols and abilities.

VARIATIONS

In "Origin," there will be four different print versions of the cards. Foil and Mythic cards, as well as Mythic Foil cards, will be rare to find. True collectibles – with lasting value!

  • Basic Cards Card with standard printing front and back, no effects
  • Foil Cards with glitter effect on the front, back standard print
  • Mythic Cards with standard print on the front and Artist Sketch on the back as standard print
  • Mythic Foil Cards with foil print on the front and artist sketch as standard print on the back
  • 250 unique cards with serial number 1/1 (one card each from all 250 cards in the set)
  • The set contains 25 cards, each featuring 10 different artwork details. Each card is unique in the world.
